Michael Marciano, born in Manhattan developed an eye for symmetry, color, texture and form at an early age. Having direct European ancestry from Italy and Spain, Michael's family traveled the globe in search of beauty, art, music and the opportunity to offer the world their interpretation of the arts and free thinking ideas. Through audio and visual observation, Michael's heart was captivated by their ideas and artistry.
From a child, Michael's family offered a palette of art and music at home. From the ages of 4 through 12 Michael's family brought him to every museum and art show that was possible throughout Manhattan. At a young age, Michael was familiar with most of the masters in visual arts having been exposed to many images and ideas at the Guggenheim and MOMA in Manhattan. Michael loved paintings, pastels, photography, sculptures and works of glass, his passion for art increasingly grew and at the age of 12 he had his first camera and his first dream..
In his early teens Michael moved to South Florida bringing a new world of nature into his urban upbringing. His photography began with nature and natural beauty having an edge and twist that forged a way into his current photography.
" Since a boy I have always been awestruck at the work of masters such as
Michaelangelo and Leonardo Divinci as well as Monet, Dali, Picasso, then, Chagell, Raushenberg, Kandinsky and Warhal. I have always been drawn to reflections and shadows, balance, color and light. Images that require thought and evoke emotion are essential in visual artistry" Art-Walk - Michael Marcianno "2005"
Michael currently resides in South Florida and photographs mainly in S.E. Florida, LA, New York City, and abroad. Michael has been published nationally and internationally.

I believe the power of the arts in every form is so vital to every culture and every generation. We are responsible to give to our past, present and future generations the beauty of freedom, the power of truth and the commitment of education, with the hopeful intent of making a difference in the world.
Everything says something and so much is said without speaking a word. Every image says something, whether it be healing, alarming, frightening, soothing, inspiring or thought provoking.
I view my images to be new, fresh and timeless, reaching people of every background, creed, race and age. I present my photography thanking my forefathers, embracing my peers and aspiring to inspire the youth of tomorrow.
May your dreams fuel the fire within your soul to have the courage to live them.

"Michael Marciano's photographs have an excitement to them because he uses a variety of techniques that make his images just pop out at you. His work has a lot of energy and feels wonderfully free. It is stimulating to get to know his work and where it comes from."

Michael Marciano - Photographer / Artist; "Michael's work is a combination of fine art, abstract art and modern art. Michael produces a certain style in his images that have not seen print ever! This style of photography has not been featured, period! He breaks every traditional rule and then can traditionally shoot brilliantly. His images are powerful and have a lot of energy. I think he is going to be big. He is already getting a lot of recognition."
